In some cases the template editor will ask to confirm the deletion of some of the widgets / page element sections. This will happen when you have widgets installed that are not included in this theme. This theme includes a bare minimum of widget elements. You should make backup copies of the contents of those widgets before deleting or you will lose the data! Once the theme is installed, you can reinstall your widget elements and complete the customization.

As usual, a wonderful work of digital art. Just makes me want to go out and create a travel blog :)
Thank you Catherine but I can't take credit for the art work, just the layout and coding. The header image was purchased from Dreamstime.
Luv it especally the tabs along the top. Am using it for my Blog. You do fantastic work. Thanks
nice....could i have it?
Kece, of course you can use it. Just download it and use it as long as you like!
hi there im currently using your tropical layout its so nice. but i wonder how can i make it a 3 column?
Travelphillipines- he template already has 3 columns, all you have to do is go into your Page Elements section and add items in the right column just like you did on the left side. I don't put anything there in the .zip file so that you can add your own content.
You may have to scroll the page sideways a little to see the Add Element link.
oppps my bad... thanks for your quick reply.... by the way where you from? i think i like to have a cuztomize layout soon. how much do you charge?
No problem LOL, glad to help. I live in New Orleans where it's hot and humid! hehe
Hope you enjoy the template! My custom blog designs site is here at Blogs Gone Wild =)
how to change the text in edit me tab. can we edit those edit me tabs
Yes, you can edit those tabs. You have to do it from the Edit HTML page.
Scroll down to the header-wrapper section and look carefully and you'll find the instructions in the template on how to do it.
For some reason, the third column isn't available to me (I can't move any page elements over there, etc.). What can I do within the HTML code to have this work for me?
Thanks.
Diesel - I'm not sure what your problem is but you should be able to see the Add a Page Element link for the right sidebar from the Page Elements screen. If you're on a narrow computer screen you may have to scroll to the right to see the link.
I see you added your own sidebar but you don't have it coded correctly to use the CSS styles, that's why it doesn't match the rest of the template colors.
No one else seems to have problems with this template, and I don't know what to tell you.
Yes! Thank you se7en. I've changed Web Directory's template to your "Tropical Retreat". The theme suit me coz I've live in beautiful Malaysia.
Your templates are the best. I'm not trying to sweet talk or anything like that, lol! I know coz I've been using several free templates beside yours.
Keep it coming, se7en.
Greetings and lotta loves from Malaysia.
The biggest problem I have is that the page elements area goes all screwy the second I use a three-column setup (yours or anyone else's). I'm just starting to learn CSS, so it's a struggle for me to manipulate the code. But I'll figure it out through good 'ol trial and error.
Thanks.
Success!
Thanks again. It's a great skin.
Sorry, one more question: Do you have any idea how I can integrate expandable post summaries into this skin? The Blogger help section says to insert it into the style sheet, but I can't find it within the code.
Thanks again.
Diesel - Sorry but no I don't. I've never used them before so I have no experience with that mod.
Se7en,
OK, that's cool. I might be able to figure it out myself ... all I need to know is what signifies the style sheet in your template. I think that might be the only thing holding me back, and then I can share the info with anyone who's curious.
I really appreciate your helping me; sorry if I'm being annoying.
Diesel - the style sheet can be found by clicking on the Edit HTML button.
se7en
thanks for your great work. just to let you know that i'm using this theme for my blog. hope it's ok. i like the tabs but not sure how it works. thanks again & have a nice day.
I absolutely adore this layout! Thanks so much for your hardwork and effort in offering us freeskins.
But help! I'm having the same problem as diesel was with the right sidebar, however I have not edited anything. I thought it was a problem with the width of the image, but you had mentioned that there should be no blips with this skin. Pls let me know what I did wrong. TIA
Thanh - It must be something to do with either the browser you're using or the screen resolution of your monitor. I'm unable to see why some people have trouble adding items to the right sidebar.
I've checked it in several browsers and on different PC's and it works fine for me.
Anyone have any ideas? I would like to fix this.
The template comes with nothing in the right sidebar so you can put your own stuff in so don't be surprised to see that after installing.
*COUGH* Changed monitor settings, its fixed. [insert embarrassed smiley here] Thanks again! I will look fwd to your future skins.
great skin! and very useful too..i'm planning to use it one day.thank u so much :)
Hi, I'm going to use this skin for my blog but I would like to leave the blogtitle out of the header image.
Any idea how to do this?
Thanks, keep up the good work!
It used to be a tag like this: "<$BlogTitle$>"
Don't want to sound stupid but I can't find it...
Caligula - That code was used in the Blogger 'classic' skins. This template runs in XML mode and uses a different coding to lad the title.
Basically, just remove all the text between the header-wrapper and it's closing div tag down in the Edit HTML page. Don't remove the div tags though!
thanks 4 the quick respons, but ive put my own image in and now I want to lose the blogtitle in the image. Which code do I have remove?
That's the answer to your question of how to remove the title text at the very top, please read it again.
Was looking in the wrong place (at the part where the image goes) Thanks for the help.
U rock Se7en!
I REALLY need HElp!I cant change the Edit Me text and have tried looking in the code but cant find it!help!
tej - You just have to look for it down in the Edit HTML page, it's about 3/4 of the way down in the code below the body tag
i feel like im in hawaii
Hi Se7en I love your blogs and already use them for 2 of my blogs
I am wondering what size the top image is as I'd like to replace it with my own
Thanks
Talia
Talia - The top image for this template is 980 x 300. You can swap it out with your own by changing the url in the #header-wrapper section of the Edit HTML page
thanks se7en

Great template.
Now, how do I edit the link colour in the main post section?
thank you for sharing this great theme :)
Just wanted to give you a HUGE thanks for this template. I've been looking for a three column template since blogger premiered beta, and this one was not only extremely easy to use and to customize, but I absolutely love the tabs on the top. It gives me so much great organization! Thanks a million for the great work!
Thanks so much for putting together this template. I absolutely love the 3 column style and it was really easy to do. I really like the tabs on the top. I've been looking for something that goes with my blog title, this fits fabulously. Keep up the good work.
thank's very... very... much
Thank you for the wonderful template desing.. i like so much and using this tropical.
THANK YOU FOR JUCH A BEAUTIFULL TEMPLATE
BUT I M HAVING PROBLEM IN LODING IMAGE ADS ON RIGHT SIDEBAR IT DOES NOT SHOW COMPLETELY
PLS SEE MY SITE AND PLS TELL ME SOME SOLUTION
WWW.ROSHANFUNZONE.BLOGSPOT.COM
BCOZ AFTER SEARCHING OVER NET FOR LAST 1 AND HALF MONTH I ONLY FOUND UR TEMPLATES VERY COOL AND WELL SUITED.
I WOULD BE WAITING FOR UR SOLUTION
THANKS
djroshan - I took a look at your blog and it's very obvious whats wrong. The sidebars are only 200 pixels wide and the ads you have there are much, much wider. How can you expect they would fit? sheeesh
You can't put a 300 pixel wide ad in a 200 pixel wide space, of course it won't fit!
Use narrower ads and if it's an image click on shrink to fit.
I cant change my template, I get this error:
Informação adicional
blogID: 679**************
host: www.blogger.com
uri: /html
I have my blog so wrong :(
Thanks for this template. After some work it looks great on my blog. I've got a rotating image in the header. If anyone wants the code to do this let me know. Thanks again!
thanks this template
hi se7en, thanks again for this great template.
just one question: I'm going to add a repeating pic in the backgound. Is there any way I can make the background stay still when I scroll down, I mean just move the blog itself when scrolling and not the background?
