Installing Your New XML Template
In some cases the template editor will ask to confirm the deletion of some of the widgets / page element sections. This will happen when you have widgets installed that are not included in this theme. This theme includes a bare minimum of widget elements. You should make backup copies of the contents of those widgets before deleting or you will lose the data! Once the theme is installed, you can reinstall your widget elements and complete the customization.
Your blogs title will automatically replace the title you see in the header. The "description" will display in the header panel, edit it in your blogs "Settings" area.

I can't get this one or any other ones to work?
Marz, you have to make sure that the blog you're trying to install the template on is set to XML for the XML templates. See this article Blogger Mode Switching.
The template works fine if you want to see it running at this site here: Dream Light It will be up at that site for a limited time.
I've had errors with trying to get them to go in IE but it worked fine when I switched over to Firefox to change it out. But then Blogger has been giving a lot of issues with trying to do any kind of editing of the template itself if I try to do it in IE. Shows up great in both once it's up. Love mine. Thanks!
I like tis skin but i realised tat the top of page where we normally haf a navigate bar for shortcut links to new posts, customise, etc is gone... anyway to retrieve tat bar?
hey i managed to get it done fast! thanks for the guides!
How do I enable the blogger navigation bar at top? I like the look of not having it there, but unfortunately, I need the search function of the nav bar.
To bring the nav bar back, go to the Edit HTML page and remove this entire section form the page:
#navbar-iframe {
height: 0px;
visibility: hidden;
display: none;
}
It's very near the top area.
=)
I downloaded this template and it works fine on the page but I'm trying to edit it, such as change the main header picture and background colors, etc. But everytime I try to change the link for the header picture it just gets rid of it all together. Any idea as to how I can edit this?
efc - If you're trying to edit the appearance thru the Blogger control panel on the Page Elements page, it won't work.
This template is too highly customized for that and must be edited thru the Edit HTML page in the file editor directly. The standard Blogger controls do not have nearly enough flexibility to do this kind of customization.
That pretty much includes every template on this site.
Great. Kudos! :D
